Weidmuller display as one of the possibilities for signaling. In order to streamline and optimize the assembly process at production sites, we propose the use of pick to light system.
It is a simple and intuitive order picking system that directs fitters and operators to the correct location of a part or product using mounted light lamps.
In addition to the display, on which the operator/fitter receives information about the number of pieces to be downloaded, there is also a button/scanner with a barcode confirming the execution of the operation.
Thanks to this solution, manual picking processes are faster and more accurate.
PICK BY LIGHT
The second option supports the distribution of goods to the right locations. The system identifies the product based on a specific feature – e.g. a unique barcode. Once the product has been identified, the appropriate location to which the product is to be postponed is highlighted.
The Pick to Light system allows you to significantly speed up the execution time of operations performed manually and at the same time reduce the number of errors, reducing the number of decisions made by a person.

The ability to integrate and communicate the system via WLAN allows you to connect many other auxiliary devices (barcode scanners, RFID readers, printer scales, etc. ) for wide application and easy expansion. The use of Pick To Light can increase the efficiency of the collection process by up to 50%.
