Step 1

Report a problem

A production disturbance can be detected automatically by the system through sensors, based on data retrieved from the machine, or can be reported manually by the operator.

For this purpose, the operator can use a button installed on the machine / workstation or a touch operator panel.

Step 2

Notification of services

The reported failure is visible on the visualization monitors, in the management application and is signaled by a light column / sound signal. Notification of a disturbance is automatically generated by the system and directed to the appropriate people, distinguishing by the type of problem (UTR services, production leader / master, technologist, quality control).

Step 3

Solution

Thanks to the possibility of escalating emerging problems, all information related to production can be transferred to people higher in the employment hierarchy in a timely manner. Such an approach to the requests / Andons eliminates the problem of failure to take or omit the request.

Step 4

EVENT SERVICE MODULE

Create dependencies

It is a system functionality that allows you to generate actions depending on the exact production parameters that are archived in the CyberVision system. The system monitors the assumptions and, when they are met, generates an appropriate action, e.g. after exceeding the temperature on the selected sensor in the machine, the system activates Andon and sends a text message to the appropriate people. Another example is the generation of Andons at the moment of detecting the assumed amount of defective products, but only in the case when no Andons on the stand are active. Thanks to this module, we can flexibly adapt the application to the expectations of customers.

FAQ

What is the difference between CyberVision and MES?

The CyberVision application is built of functional modules. Each of the modules has very precisely described functionalities. The customer selects the appropriate modules to be implemented, configuration takes place directly in the application interface. The MES system, on the other hand, is a solution built together with the client, based on detailed guidelines. There are no two identical implementations of the MES system - they differ in everything, including the interface and graphic design of the application. In the case of CyberVision, the application has a standardized appearance and changes taking place in the system are introduced globally for all implementations. In terms of functionality, the two solutions are similar, while the MES system focuses on managing the production process (from accounting for materials, production execution, quality control, building traceability, through extensive reporting), and the purpose of the CyberVision system is to monitor the machine park (alarms, downtimes, micro-downtimes, production indicators, visualization of the production process). The CyberVision application is a response to the needs of customers who would like to receive a "boxed" solution for monitoring the machine park, which is faster and inexpensive to implement.

Possibilities of communication with machines

There are several ways to communicate the CyberVision solution with the machine park. The age and type of machinery do not prevent the implementation of a solution of this class. Our preferred method of integration with machines is communication with the machine's PLC. Communication drivers are installed on the application server, which, using appropriate communication protocols, allow for reading variables from the PLC controller. We use the following communication protocols: OPC UA, OPC DA, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MTConnect, FANUC FOCAS, Siemens S7 PUT/GET, SLMP, EtherNet/IP, Heidenhain and others. It is possible to add external sensors to the machine or use available sensors. In this case, we provide a control cabinet for the acquisition of signals from external sensors (or those installed by us). By using an additional control cabinet, we have the option of receiving electrical signals from the machine in the event that the machine does not have a PLC controller or the controller does not have communication capabilities. The fourth way to communicate with machines is to use the API or the machine's master database, if the machine has such a possibility.

What is Andon?

It is a tool for signaling production problems. Andon is based on the visual transmission of information through light signals. The main element of Andon is a board/dashboard on which the most important information about downtimes and working time is displayed. In the case of the CyberVision application, Andons can be reported by Operators at production workstations or come directly from machines.

What machine information can be monitored in the app?

Depending on the method of communication with machines, we have various options for monitoring the machine park. In its most extensive form (e.g. when integrating with a PLC), the system collects information on binary states: work, no work, auto mode on, manual mode on, safety off, door / cover opening and many other signals that the customer would like from the machine monitor. The system can also collect analog data: temperatures, feeds, revolutions, pressure, torques, cycles and other variables saved in the PLC of the machine. In addition, the system can archive information in the form of logs on: a running program or an established tool. In the least developed form of machine park monitoring (machine sensing or receiving electrical signals), the system collects basic information: work, lack of work, quantities produced / cycles worked.

What are visualizations in the CyberVision system?

Visualizations are one of the most important elements of the CyberVision system. Visualizations are displayed on TV sets located in the production area, presented on users' computers and smartphones. The information on the visualizations is refreshed in real time and can change depending on specific conditions: e.g. in the event of a production break, change of a production order, after a certain time or at the request of the operator who can control the displayed visualizations via the application. The visualization must be tailored to the group of recipients (the visualization for the operator at the position will be significantly different from the visualization for the managers), which is why we offer our clients joint design of the visualization. Such a project goes to the development team, which prepares a digital equivalent. In addition, we have over 100 unique visualization elements, thanks to which the customer can independently configure selected visualizations. In the CyberVision application, we license unique visualization projects, but we do not license the number of unique views (1 project can be presented at the same time on many devices).

Application licensing methods

The CyberVision system can be implemented in two variants: SaaS or On Premise. If you choose a perpetual license, please contact the sales department, which will prepare an individual offer for you. In order to configure the offer in the SaaS model, please use the SaaS calculator in the PRICE LIST tab. In the case of SaaS, you can carry out the implementation yourself on the basis of instructions or commission us to carry out the implementation.

What hardware is required to run CyberVision?

When it comes to the hardware necessary to run the application, it should be divided into two elements: network infrastructure and production hardware. In the case of network infrastructure, you need to prepare a server for the application and provide the network necessary for communication of applications in the production and office area. In the case of other devices, elements of communication with machines should be provided: sensors, electrical cabinets, routers, and devices for operating the CyberVision system should be provided: tablets, workstation computers, cassettes and columns, TV sets and minicomputers for displaying the image from the visualization. The equipment may be provided by the Customer or provided by Raion. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our offer presented in the online store.

Number of implementations and number of machines connected to the system.

At the moment, we have carried out about 50 implementations of our solutions in the area of supporting production processes. At the moment, our solutions monitor about 2,000 machines located at our clients. Machine monitoring takes place in real time.

What is the cost of implementing the CyberVision system?

The cost depends on many variables, while a standard implementation, which lasts up to 3 months, covering approx. 10 machines / production stations, costs approx. PLN 100,000 net, without the cost of equipment, which is a very individual matter.
